Microsoft Power Platform consulting

The Power Platform. Used the right way.

Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power BI, and Copilot Studio are powerful tools - if architecture, licensing, and operations are right from the start. I give you product-neutral advice across the Microsoft portfolio and then implement the solution myself.

01Use cases

Where I provide Power Platform consulting

Getting started and strategy

Where is the Power Platform worthwhile, and where is it not? I assess your processes, prioritize use cases by benefit and effort, and show the way to the first solution in production.

Solution architecture

SharePoint or Dataverse? Canvas or model-driven app? Cloud flow or desktop flow? I decide together with you based on data volume, permissions, licensing, and future-proofing.

Understanding licensing

Standard or premium connector, "per app" or "per user," Microsoft 365 or Power Apps Premium: I calculate your solution's operating costs in advance.

Rescuing existing solutions

Slow apps, error-prone flows, missing documentation? I analyze, clean up, and make things faster and more stable - or migrate to a solid foundation.

02The difference

From isolated solutions to an end-to-end process.

Today

  • Excel spreadsheets emailed back and forth
  • Approvals on paper or given verbally
  • Data duplicated in several systems
  • Nobody knows the current status of a case

With the Power Platform

  • One app for data entry and processing
  • Automatic approvals via Teams and email
  • One data foundation with integrations
  • Status, history, and reporting at any time

03Approach

From the first conversation to a solution in production.

Consulting and implementation from a single source: whoever writes the concept also builds it - with no friction between consultant and developer.

  1. Initial consultation

Free and without obligation via Microsoft Teams: What is the challenge, what is the goal, and which licenses do you already have? Afterward, you will know whether and how the Power Platform fits your needs.

  2. Process analysis

Together with the people who run the process every day: How does it work today, and where do manual handoffs between systems or media, delays, and errors occur?

  3. Solution concept

Data model, screens, flows, permissions, and licensing - in writing, easy to understand, and with a clear effort estimate.

  4. Implementation in stages

Short iterations, each with a working interim result. You see early on what is being built and can adjust course.

  5. Rollout and handover

Acceptance, deployment to production, documentation, and handover to your team - so the solution does not depend on me.

  6. Further development

If you wish, I will continue to support the solution afterward: enhancements, new requirements, and updates from Microsoft.

Engineering, installation, order management, purchasing, and a second purchasing review handle approvals in sequence; rejections are routed back to the appropriate step with a required explanation. Nine flows, eight SharePoint lists, escalation, and an audit trail form the core system. 06Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

What is the Microsoft Power Platform?
The Power Platform is Microsoft's low-code platform. At its core, it consists of Power Automate (automation), Power Apps (applications), Power BI (analytics), Copilot Studio (AI assistants), and Power Pages (portals), together with Dataverse as the data foundation and more than 1,000 connectors to other systems. It is closely integrated with Microsoft 365.
Isn't low-code only for small solutions?
No. With a clean architecture, solutions, environments, and deployment via pipelines, Power Platform applications run reliably even in large groups with thousands of users. The key is to know the limits - such as delegation with large data volumes or API limits - and to plan for them from the start.
Do I need additional licenses?
Often not: many solutions with SharePoint, Teams, and standard connectors are included in Microsoft 365. Premium connectors, Dataverse, or custom connectors require Power Automate or Power Apps premium licenses. I clarify this before the project starts so there are no surprises.
Do you also work with our IT department or our service provider?
Yes, I am happy to. Often, IT provides environments, permissions, and policies while I implement the solution - or I contribute my experience as a solution architect to an existing team.
