Frequently asked questions
Why Power BI with a partner?
Because good reports need two things: reliable data from business processes and thoughtful analysis. The first is my focus; the second is AMBLIX's. Together, we cover the entire process - from data capture to metrics.
How does the collaboration work?
You have a dedicated point of contact for your project. At the start, we agree with you on how to divide the tasks between powerbunch and AMBLIX.
Which licenses does Power BI require?
The free Power BI Desktop is sufficient for creating reports. Anyone who publishes and shares reports needs a Pro or Premium Per User license. People who only view reports can use the free license if both the report and semantic model are hosted on Fabric capacity of F64 or higher or on existing Power BI Premium capacity, and the person has read-only access: the "Viewer" role in the workspace, access through an app, or direct sharing. Other workspace roles require Pro or Premium Per User, as does viewing reports without this capacity. I clarify with you in advance which licenses you need.
